tls decrypt 4 Years, 8 Months ago
Hi,
I read your article on decryting TLS. I used openssl to convert my private key to pkcs#* format. The header of the key file looks like this - "----BEGIN PRIVATE KEY-----". I am trying to decrpyt some SSL port 443 http encrypted application data communication from a soap server. I have successfully gotten the graphic key symbols next to the TLS client hello and the handshake server response to the hello. Imported tcpdump traces don't show the grapic "key" like the unsniff traces. I have turned decryption on. Traces are available on request.

Hi Danny,

Can you click on the menu "View"->"Log Window" ? Then re-import the tcpdump traces.

Do you see any error messages in the log window ?
