Is there any option in unsniff to view the session key of the server and client during the SSL/TLS session.

Hi Ashok,

I assume you want to see the negotiated master secret of a given TLS session.

Do you have access to the server private key ?

If yes, and if your cipher is among the ciphers supported, then you might be able to see the master secret.

Try this, "Tools->Customize->Advanced->Logging", and set the API Log Level to "Info". Then do a "View->Log Window". This might dump the master secret. If it does not leave a message here, and we might be able to add this information to the log.

Thanks,

Regards,
Vivek Rajan

Thank you very much. I think this will help me a lot for testing my own apache server.

I had set the API trace level to info, also set other traces to info. Here the logs had been displayed, but nowhere i found the session key of either the server or the client.

I had set the "WRITE TRACE TO FILE" option, then to which file the Log Trace will be written.

If iam getting a page cannot be displayed error during an ssl session, will the unsniffer is capable of delivering the logs for the cause of failure.
