Unbrowse SNMP updated
A new release of Unbrowse SNMP is available with a ton of new features for monitoring SNMP traps.
* Full screen mode
* When accessed via a browser you can now see severity colors
* You can now use 25 trap varbinds (previously 10) to construct a custom trap message

Open source Trisul Network Metering and Forensics launched
We are pleased to announce the launch of Trisul. An open
source network metering and forensics tool.
Trisul is fully open source under GPLv3. It includes a server component
called Trisul and a web frontend called Web-Trisul. While the server
component can be used standalone, the ruby on rails application Web -
Trisul can be used by administrators to remotely monitor current status
and drilldown to investigate forensic events.

We have just released the Unbrowse SNMP Scripting
interface documentation along with code samples. You can write really
nifty scripts in VBScript or Ruby to automate several things like trap
receiving, processing traps, OID lookups, navigating MIBs, MIB Walking,
and so forth.
We are happy
to announce the availability of Unbrowse SNMP Release 1.5. The highlight of this release is the introduction of major
new tools to help with SNMPv3 Security Management. These tools are
designed to make working with USM users and permissions really easy.
Create and maintain users and their associated permissions and
passwords just as easily as you would your email accounts or Windows /
Linux users. Other additions include :
Three new tools for advanced SNMPv3 users ( KeyChanger,
KeyLocalizer, and Engine ID Discovery)
