Hi,

Im new to this. I just downloaded the \"Unbrowse SNMP\" free version and was wondering how do i do SNMPWalk on my device.

Can let me know the steps to point to my device (e.g. Device is in network with 192.168.1.1 IP address and SNMP community name is public) and how to perform SNMPWalk on the device?

In addition, how to see all the MIB object listed or supported by my device using this tool.

I just want to try out and see if it is successful.

Hope someone will reply to this thread soon.

Thanks!

Hello Wei,

First add an agent. Select Agents->Manage. Then press the \"Create new agent\" icon. You can specify the IP address and community string in that dialog.

If you want to retrieve a specific table (eg, ifTable) then open the MIB (by double clicking the item such as RFC1213-MIB). Right click on the desired table (eg ifTable) and select \"New MIB Walk\". You can then press the walk button to perform snmpwalk on that table.

If you want to discover all the MIBs supported by your device, select \"Agents->Discover Implementation\". Next, select the agent from the combo box and press the \"Start button\". Once discovery is complete you can create a custom \"MIB Tree\" with all the objects discovered. This is called a MyMib.

Check out the MIB Walking Demo flash video ( www.unleashnetworks.com/unbrowse-snmp-pr...e/unbrowse-home.html )

You can also press F1 for online help.

Hope that helps,
