Hi,

We just upgraded to 3.6 to try out the new PF-RING feature we talked about in email. Starting Trisul with

trisul -demon /usr/local/etc/trisul/trisulConfig.xml -mode fullblown_pf

Errors out with

Failed: [Stub only] You need to supply PF_RING product libs
trisul: ../../../../src/tparty/pfring/pfringstub.c:10: pfring_open: Assertion `0' failed.

Hi Curtis

Please check the following

1. If pfring module is loaded ( insmod pf_ring.ko ) - then do a lsmod to check if it shows up.

2. Replace the stub library included with Trisul with your lib version. To do this
cp libpfring.so /usr/local/lib/trisul

Where libpfring.so is your pfring library compiled by you.

Docs will be ready in the next 1 week prior to 3.6 (when released it will be 4.0) release. Keep the feedback coming.
