TOPIC: Google Mail HTTPS Decryption

Google Mail HTTPS Decryption 16 years 5 days ago #189

I try to use Unsinff to decrypt my own Google Mail login HTTPS packet, Is that possible ? I had been test Unsniff for 3 days.

From the begining of question, Could I get my Google key for the decryption ?B)

Thanks.

Warren,

You would need the private key from google in order to do that.

Google admins who have access to the keys can use Unsniff to decrypt gmail, not the general public.

Sorry !

Thanks. It mean I could not decrypt my own Google e-mail (https) with Google Admins's key.

Beside the question, Could I have Man-in-the-middle tech to generate Fake certificate instead of Google certificate which I might import into Unsniff for try ?

Thanks.

If you have a man in the middle setup - you can use Unsniff to decrypt. See this link for details www.pburkholder.com/sysadmin/SSL-mitm/SSL-mitm.php

With SSL/TLS you cannot even decrypt your \"own traffic\" if you are not the administrator of the webserver.

B) Dear, Thanks for your support.

That's begining of my project. I need to sniff SSL packet in my LAN to Internet. I had been test (Cain & Abel) which as Man-in-The-Middle APR spoofing solution.

Cain & Abel can generate Fake certificate which client will download, Cain & Abel server will download and talk to Google instead.

My question is which key should I insert into Unsniff ? Do I need to convert the Fake Certificate into PKCS#8 or what ?

You support is appreciated.
