I am trying to decrypt https traffic. I loaded my cert as suggested in the document. Still I can't see https traffic decryoted. All I see is TLS traffic.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ravi,

Unsniff can do two things.

1. Decrypt the SSLv3 / TLS records ? Switch to the PDU sheet because many of these records span multiple ethernet / 802.11 frames.


2. Strip out the SSLv3 / TLS layer and proceed to decode higher layer protocols such as HTTPS, secure LDAP or whatever.

Are you able to successfully decrypt the SSL/TLS records ? If yes, then check the \"Analyzer Upper Layers\" option via the Plugins->Customize menu. This will allow the HTTPS to be analyzed.

Suggestion : Click on View->Log Window to see errors as they are encountered.
