Hi all.

I installed Unbrowse SNMP in one of our computers with Windows Server 2008.

When I try to open the program, immediately I receive a message that says "Unbrowse SNMP has stopped working"

Problem Event: APPCRASH
Application Name:TBMON3.exe
Fault module name: StackHash_f40c

and some more information.

What can we do? we bought a license and can't use it. Sad but true.

Sorry for the trouble. There is an issue with the registration software and the ALSR security feature in Windows Server 2008 and Windows 7 Server.

The honest answer is the software protection program we are using does not like the ASLR and DEP protection features turned on by default in W2008 and W7 enterprise. Please use the above build until we rectify the problem.


Moving to another protection program means we have to resend the license keys to the hundreds who are actively using the software and they cant download updates.

On win7 and win2008 I needed to change the settings on the windows "Data Execution Prevention" (DEP)Feature.

DEP is supposed to help guard against virus's and security problems.

I added the 3 executables in the Unbrowse Snmp BIN folder to the list of programs to allow them to run. UnbrowseSnmp then worked. YMMV.

You might only need to add the TBMON3.EXE to the list of programs without DEP.
