Trying to start Trisul running on ec2 instance, but get this error in the first step.

[root@XXXXXshare]# rpm -Uvh trisul-2.0.919-0.el5.x86_64.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:
libcrypto.so.6()(64bit) is needed by trisul-0:2.0.919-0.el5.x86_64
libpcap.so.0.9.4()(64bit) is needed by trisul-0:2.0.919-0.el5.x86_64
libssl.so.6()(64bit) is needed by trisul-0:2.0.919-0.el5.x86_64
[root@ipXXXX share]#

Should I try the DEB or RPM on ec2??

You are using the Amazon 64-bit AMI arent you ? Can you try a Community CentOS AMI instead ? BTW the stock AMI will work if you fix the OpenSSL libs.

I would also appreciate some feedback on how you are using Trisul in the cloud.

Hi,

To be honest, we are a very small team and it takes a lot of effort to support a new distro. Especially the AMI images - Please email me vivek at unleashnetworks with more details and I can try to assess the use case.

Until then please try the Ubuntu or Centos 64-bit community AMI.

Thanks,
