I am having issue with setting the capture adapter with trisul_2.2.961_i386 after upgrading it from 2.x on Ubuntu 32 bit (Security Onion)

I removed the previous dpkg -r trisul.

Is there a way to set the capture adapter in this file trisulConfig.xml?

Please advise a fix.

Hi,

1. Can you access other screens ? Such as Customize > Counters.


2. Can you paste the output of /usr/local/share/webtrisul/log/production.log ? If it is too big you may send it to info at unleashnetworks dot com.

This is the error. I was able to access other screens.
no such table: trisul_capture_profiles: SELECT * FROM "trisul_capture_profiles

I did a cleanenv -init

That fixed it.

Yes that will work but it will wipe out all data collected so far. I wonder why you ended up in this situation post upgrade. Did you move your databases to another area using relocdb ?
