I sometimes set descriptive names to some IPs. Like "External IP" for my router external IP, work router and etc.
However when DNS request comes (?) like i ping/resolve hostname which points to my IP with description, description gets erased and instead i see hostname.
Like:
1) set any description for IP
2) ping any hostname which should resolve to that IP
3) see that you now have that hostname instead of your description
4) ping another hostname which resolves to same IP, previous hostname gets wiped and you now see new hostname.

Looks like bug.

Yes this is by design, whatever is discovered by the latest DNS info overrides earlier DNS.

Unfortunately this also overrides what we've set manually. I can see how that would be strange. The issue is Trisul internally does not know if the label has been set manually or by DNS. In the next build, we will allow you to enter a name in the "Description" field, which will only be manual. That should do it.

Thanks,
